I loved her like the future, But she loved me like the past || when true love meets circumstances. Episode 1

They say, Love is in the eyes of the beholder. I never saw any fact in that statement because I had a counterstatement for that, which is, "lust" is in the eyes of the beholder. As I journeyed in life, I got more clarity that my statement was valid. This helped me build a wall around it and raised my defense mechanism as to certain triggers in this area.  My belief in love crashed gradually without recognition until something happened. A day in my life I will never forget in a hurry. I was part of an organizing team based on a recommendation from a friend for a social gathering event. we scheduled a physical meeting to see and plan for the success of the event. I arrived late due to my schedule, and planned to step out pretty soon as well.  On arriving at the venue, I noticed the physical meeting was full of lots of people well dressed. the convener recognized me even when I quietly sneaked in by tiptoeing. he said; Finally, you are here. Please, what do you think we should d...

Building something New is not the main thing. The real job is in maintenance. The ability to sustain over time what you've built makes you a stable fellow. Relevance isn't an exception. Which bracket are you in? some skills as of today are suddenly fading away due to AI, and guess what, there's another one that's been cooked that will wipe out entirely the small crumbs people are holding onto. life has been refined to be made easier as time goes on. THE DAY I WANTED TO TAKE MY LIFE. || BASED ON A TRUE LIFE STORY

Image
I can remember this day like it was yesterday. The day I wanted to end my own life.  indeed, suicide is bad. It starts from thoughts, and then nature will just push similar confirmations and alignments of such thoughts to you. ( As a man thinketh, so is He )    This was the case for me sometime during the winter season. I took the most daring decisions in my life, not minding the consequences of my actions.   It all began when I moved to a new class based on a new academic session. Everyone was happy to move into a new class. this was also my case because we all never liked our former classroom teacher. And we've heard good things about the teacher we were coming to meet, hence the excitement. I could not make it to the first day because we travelled on holiday, and returned the next day after school resumption. when I resumed school the next day, I noticed the front row down to the third was already occupied, so I went to the back row.     Still...

Failure isn't the opposite of success. NO.  it's part of success. A lot of people fear failure. But it's one of the most powerful teachers life has given us. I can recall back then when I was in primary school. I never liked mathematics as a subject. I hated even the sight of it, talk more of learning it. most of us had this same issue growing up.   Fast forward to when my mum had to enroll me in an extra class. Yes, it was that bad. I angrily went, and reluctantly learnt. even in class activities, I still scored the lowest. already, I   knew my place, so I didn't even bother.   One day, when the teacher was tired of my scores, he called me to his office, gave me a seat, and said; ''Mathematics is the simplest subject. I felt he was trying to make me like mathematics. but he kept insisting. so I thought to myself, if he is saying this, then I needed to see it myself.  Here are 5 lessons I learned from failure. 1. Failure doesn't mean you're finish...
