I loved her like the future, But she loved me like the past || when true love meets circumstances. Episode 1
They say, Love is in the eyes of the beholder. I never saw any fact in that statement because I had a counterstatement for that, which is, "lust" is in the eyes of the beholder. As I journeyed in life, I got more clarity that my statement was valid. This helped me build a wall around it and raised my defense mechanism as to certain triggers in this area. My belief in love crashed gradually without recognition until something happened.
A day in my life I will never forget in a hurry.
I was part of an organizing team based on a recommendation from a friend for a social gathering event.
we scheduled a physical meeting to see and plan for the success of the event. I arrived late due to my schedule, and planned to step out pretty soon as well.
On arriving at the venue, I noticed the physical meeting was full of lots of people well dressed.
the convener recognized me even when I quietly sneaked in by tiptoeing. he said; Finally, you are here. Please, what do you think we should do about sharing tasks among people? I know you're good at coming up with ideas.
The whole eyes turned and stared at me as I had to man up by looking fierce and bold.
"cleared my throat". Well, let us all weigh our areas of strength, and aggregate similar strengths while separating differential ones from them. with that, we will solve the issue amicably. Moreover, let us also know the available roles and see how to match them up with the cumulative strengths gathered."
While I was about to take my seat, my eyes caught a seductive, but interesting look from among the members. there she was. Her smile beams a radiant ray of hope and support from my point of view. Her lips, coupled with a succulent view, her smile lightened me up all of a sudden. her eyes are so charming and irresistible. her skin color wrapped with honey-like imaginary taste. her apparel was kitted with so much glow.
something in me leaped for the first time as I waved her back with a smile. my attention was willingly agreed to be stolen by her. I accepted the bargain without a second thought. Throughout the meeting, I wasn't myself. the feeling was huge that my next seatmate could sense I was unusually happy. But who cares? I liked how I felt. And I could sense that it was a good feeling. I felt a part of me that was starved had suddenly gotten liberty.
We kept stealing looks from each other as I couldn't wait for the meeting to end so that I could approach her. deep inside of me, I knew we were going to connect more. but what I couldn't figure out was the platform we would be connecting from.
So, after the meeting, she walked up to me and said, "Hi." Her voice was so soft and inviting. there, I knew I was in love. I replied by also stretching my hand for a handshake, but she turned me down and said; I don't shake men, I hug them". It felt like I was in cloud 8 hearing that. especially when it was coming from someone I had picked a strong liking for. trust me, I didn't spend even a nanosecond getting my hug gift. her perfume was perfect as she smelled so nice.
little did I know that that hug was going to give birth to a pleasant chemistry between us. Our hug was the best thing that happened to me that day. The warmth that came from her two standing breasts touching me made my hormones hyper. her smell, her skin, her radiance, and ambiance saturated my well-being as I never wanted to stop.
finally, when I agreed to let go, I noticed she held me so tight and never wanted to let go either.
it was a good feeling to also know that she felt the same with me.
is this what they call love? Am I losing it? how about the statement I never believed in? (Love is in the eyes of the beholder).
stay tuned for Episode 2
